Video art workshop in Las Vegas // Taller de video arte en Las Vegas

On March 17th and 18th I will be doing a video art workshop for Learn Film Online.

The workshop is a theoretical and practical approach to video art with non-canonical devices. Participants will learn about different trends and their critical context and the main artists working on video, encouraging a thoughtful critical review of the most representative video art pieces.

Participants will also develop a short piece of their own, learning the basic skills needed to plan and create a video.

El 17 y 18 de Marzo estaré dando un taller de video creación para Learn Film Online.

El taller es una aproximación teorico-práctica al mundo del videoarte mediante el uso de dispositivos no convencionales. Los participantes aprenderan sobre diferentes corrientes y escuelas de video creadores en su contexto critico; además se fomentará el análisis crítico de las piezas más representativas.

Los participantes desarrollaran un video propio con sus terminales moviles, aprendiendo a planificar y crear una pieza artistica audiovisual.
